David Duband Bourgogne Hautes Cote de Nuits Rouge 2023This wine comes from vineyards close to the winery in Chevannes named in honour of Davids son, Louis Auguste. The high altitude combined with some of the domaines oldest vines (over 55 years in age) tends to produce a wine of concentration, especially in warm vintages. A cuve that never disappoints, again clearly outperforming in 2023. Mostly in Stockinger foudres. The plan is to move in this direction for 80% then use new barrels for 20%. Good sound
