Description

"RIO" Original 16x16 Acrylic Painting by Kipsworld ArtThe original piece has since been sold. The 12x12 print is also available in the prints and posters section of my website. This piece is based on an original character Amber Brite props created named Rio Ca'Tal. The image is head nod to the album by Duran Duran which Amber named her character from. I really had a lot of fun with this piece.

I collaborated with my friend James Stone

but now I am a creature of Shadow

The background pattern is airbrushed also using Copic markers using a special tool

Aeon image was hand brushed using traditional acrylic techniques

The reference photo was taken with my cell phone at Comikaze in 2011
