TURQUOISE SET SNAKE BROOCHFrom the Victorian 'ETRUSCAN' Era this beautifully crafted Snake brooch is the epitome of the type of jewellery the Victorians loved. A Snake of course did have a totally different connotation to what we perceive today as they were deemed to indicate everlasting love along with everlasting life. This lovely piece features Ruby eyes with bright blue old Turquoise along the head. Circa 1870 A real Collector's choice. Valuation coming.

The design is quite gorgeous with the Pearls enhanced by the 'roping effect' and the Diamonds studded through the yellow gold netting
