A Delightful Small George III Mahogany Chest of Drawers c.1760-70Origin: English Period: George III Provenance: Unknown Date: c. 1760 70 Height: 26 Width: 31. 5 Depth: 19 (all at extremities) The early George III period rich mahogany carcass of diminutive proportions with an exceptional overall colour, the caddy top over an arrangement of two short and two long cockbeaded drawers, having slightly later brass drop handles, the drawers with the original locks and escutcheons to each with the original planked back,

Magician Frederick Barlow was born in 1903 and performed his tricks

The cloth was later confirmed as being a part of the apron worn by Catherine Eddowes

creating the superior seat

but some sixteen years ago this latter property was disposed of to the Stour Valley Coal and Iron Company

The reverses have been disturbed

the belouche with a deep inky background pierced by a busy and well defined pattern having two small central rosettes with chunky stepped borders

literally left untouched for the last 173 years
