It is a beautiful wood and is extremely hard and that helps with shedding of the moisture from using the call. Excess moisture can change the internal dimensions of the call through use. This excess moisture can effect the sound the call produces. This call sports a black Delrin mouth piece, a rubber lip

This call is made of Buckeye wood

This 3" brass over glass playing surface is placed in a Chestnut pot
